The cliff path leads past impressive rocky outcrops offering incredible views of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding mountains, and leads to the valley station of the Hammetschwand lift. Situated at 1132 m, the lift is the highest outdoor lift in Europe.

The day trip begins with a leisurely boat trip across Lake Lucerne, offering a first glimpse of the picturesque lake and mountain landscape. The historic Bürgenstock Railway then takes you to the Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne. From there, it's a 30-minute, easy walk along a rocky path through the natural surroundings to the Hammetschwand Lift, the highest outdoor lift in Europe. Once at the top, an impressive panoramic view of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding Alps opens up, fascinating visitors and impressively showcasing the resort's special location.
