The trips up the Stanserhorn combine tradition and innovation in an impressive way. The historic funicular railway from 1893 and the world's only CabriO aerial cableway from 2012 take visitors up to 1,898 meters above sea level and offer a unique experience of cable car history. Once at the top, breathtaking views of the Alps, 10 Swiss lakes, and the flora and fauna in the plant protection areas open up. The Stanserhorn revolving restaurant invites you to enjoy culinary delights, from regional specialties to traditional Älplermagronen from the Edelweiss pot. Other highlights include marmots, the Stanserhorn rangers, and numerous hiking and circular trails.
